While his AFL career hasn't gone exactly to plan, Paddy Dow thinks 2025 will finally be the year of consistency at St Kilda.
The former Carlton star played just three senior games for the Saints in 2024, but was sidelined for longer than first expected due to a long-term knee injury and bone bruising.
The 25-year-old is starting to find his feet again heading into next year and believes he will be ready to rock and roll when the opening round arrives.
"It's been a good start to the pre season. Had no niggles or issues," Dow said.

"Done every session so far and been feeling good so far.
And while he spent most of 2024 acclimatising after being traded to the Saints, he hopes next year will be the one where he proves his worth.
"I definitely feel more comfortable with the group," he said.
"You spend the first year getting to know how everything works, this year you definitely come back settled and ready to go."

St Kilda have been blessed with a full bill of health this summer, but key forward Max King is yet to return to full training.
"He played a few games with a bad knee. Would have been tough for him," Dow said.
"He's come back looking good this year, he's ready to go if he gets continuity with his body."
