Carlton key forward Harry McKay has admitted his side are in no "rush" to win a premiership, but believes they have the personnel to achieve it soon.
The Blues limped to the end of their 2024 season, before being bundled out of the elimination final by eventual premiers Brisbane.
A year prior, they reached a preliminary final and also went down to Brisbane.

And while all signs point to 2025 being the year they finally reach the ultimate glory, McKay isn't making any big claims.
"Definitely and obviously the goal to win one," McKay told SEN Radio.

"The group is in a really good place right now to give it a good shake.
"As a group, we're right in the window now and anything can happen for as long as you're playing,
"So, I don't think there's a 'rushness' that we need to win the grand final this year, although as a senior player, that's what you're all thinking about every time you wake up."
But McKay, who just turned 27, knows that his time in the game dwindles each year, and that flags are harder to come by the older you get.

"There's obviously an understanding that they're (premierships) hard to win and as you get older and older, that window gets smaller," McKay said.
So how exactly will the power forward, who booted 49 goals in 2024, look to win a flag as quickly as possible?
"I think all you can do is focus on the day and control what you can control and actually try and enjoy the journey," he said.
"Because a grand final doesn't define what you are as a player.
"Just try to enjoy the job and what we get to do for a living, which is pretty cool, then knowing that if we get enough right, that'll take care of itself."
Carlton will face off against Richmond in round one at the MCG on Thursday 13 March.
