Winter weather starts to bite
Washington is *freezing* at the moment.
My phone says it’s currently 1 degree Celsius but the "feels like" temperature is minus three degrees.
It’s been raining on and off with some light snow too.

Thousands of Donald Trump’s supporters have spent hours lining up in this weather, trying to get a spot inside the arena. The line stretches for blocks.
And many are expected to do it all over again tomorrow for an inauguration viewing party now that the swearing in has been moved indoors.

Trump visits Arlington National Cemetery
The pre-inauguration rally wasn't the only entry on president-elect Donald Trump's agenda today.
Earlier, he and vice-president-elect JD Vance participated in a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.
About 400,000 US veterans and their family are buried there, including service members from each of the nation's major wars.

Today was Trump's first trip there since his controversial campaign trail visit in August.
After that visit, army officials said a member of his staff pushed a cemetery worker who was trying to stop the campaign from filming in Section 60 — a heavily restricted area.
A TikTok video of the visit later shared by Trump showed scenes of him in Section 60.
