Port Adelaide key forward Todd Marshall has suffered a devastated pre season injury.
The 26-year-old ruptured his Achilles tendon at training on Monday.
He will be required to undergo surgery, with fears he could be ruled out for the entire 2025 season.

Power head of medical service, Tim O'Leary, detailed the heartbreak felt for Marshall after the training mishap.
"We are shattered for Todd," O'Leary said in a club statement on Monday.

The club backed in the 111-gamer to successfully return from rehabilitation.
"We will put plenty of support behind Todd," O'Leary said.
"We know he will approach his rehab with the same positive attitude and resilience that he has shown throughout his career."
A timeline for the forward's return will become clearer in the coming weeks, with the club confirming Marshall will undergo surgery in the coming days.

Marshall is no stranger to pre season setbacks, last year suffering a similar fate before the 2024 campaign even began.
He was on a modified training plan early last year due to a hip injury.
Marshall managed to play 19 matches but struggled with that hip complaint in the latter part of last year.

The Power will likely struggle without Marshall if he does miss the 2025 campaign, after the retirement of veteran forward Charlie Dixon after their preliminary final loss last year.
But the addition of former Gold Coast forward Jack Lukosius during the trade period, seems to have come at the perfect time.
Lukosius joins yet another young forward in Mitch Georgiades, with hopes the pair can steer the ship if Marshall is unable to return this season.
