Sporting trailblazer Christina Matthews has been announced as the newest Cricket Australia Hall of Fame inductee.
Matthews was unveiled as the 65th addition to the prestigious list at the MCG on Thursday, just ahead of the women's Ashes Test match beginning.
She played 20 Test matches for Australia as well as 47 one-day internationals across a glittering career that ran for more than a decade from 1984.

As a wicketkeeper for the Test team, she took a record 58 dismissals behind the stumps.
She was also vice-captain of the team from 1991-1994, and after her retirement went into various administration roles.
Matthews is best known to the modern cricket fraternity as the long-time CEO of Western Australia Cricket.

"Stretching from an impressive playing career, Christina has continued to pave the way for women in the game through her extensive administration career.
"It is fitting to make this announcement on another historic day when the MCG hosts the first Women's Test Match at the venue in more than 75 years."
Matthews becomes the 65th member of the exclusive club.
Former men's Test captain Michael Clarke was last week the 64th inductee.
One more 2025 inductee will be announced in the coming days.
