Taylan May has been cleared for a potential NRL return, with domestic violence charges dropped against the former Panthers star.
The 23-year-old was due to face court on Monday, but all charges were withdrawn relating to an incident last year.
May had maintained his innocence and would have pleaded not guilty.
The door is now open for the Samoan international to return, with the no-fault stand-down policy relating to ongoing charges.
ARLC chairman Peter V'landys confirmed there was no reason May can't return.

"Now that there is no pending charge, he's free to play. The no-fault stand down policy is always on police charge," he told The Sydney Morning Herald.
"The police charges have been dropped. He was stood down until the matter is concluded. It is now concluded. He's free to play.
"The stand-down rule was a line in the sand moment from the game that under no circumstance will we ever tolerate violence against women or children.

"If a player was charged by the police, then we stand the player down.
"As the charges have been withdrawn, and unless some other evidence comes forward, he's free to play."
May was sacked by Penrith last year due to a string of other off-field indiscretions not related to his pending court case.
With 17 tries in 30 first grade appearances and plenty of football still ahead of him, May could attract interest from a number of clubs.
His older brother Terrell recently signed with the Wests Tigers on a multi-year deal.
