Travis Head has taken a swipe at some of Australia's critics following a 3-1 series win over India which sas the nation regain the coveted Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
The left-hander finished unbeaten on 34 at the SCG as the hosts surpassed India with six wickets in hand, capping off an incredible summer which drew massive crowds.
Head finished the five-game series with 448 runs – the most of any player – before celebrating with debutant Beau Webster in the final moments on Sunday afternoon.

"It's just nice to contribute," the humble batter said post-game.
"I don't worry too much about what the result might be. I just realised we are into the World Test Championship. I forgot about that in what has been a crazy three days.
"It's been busy and I'm looking forward to 10 days off."
While the victory gives the Aussies another piece of silverware in their growing cabinet, the past two months hasn't come without criticism – both of the team and individuals.

Australia fifth Test player ratings: One man's faultless display gifts Pat Cummins the perfect trifecta
Fiery moments between the two rival nations, as well as poor form from some of the Aussie contingent led to plenty of headlines and question marks, especially after the home side were blown away in the opening game at Optus Stadium.
"It's been very difficult," Head said.
"The last series in Australia they played exceptionally well. We probably let one slip in Perth and we traditionally play really well there, so we were on the back foot.
"The series could have gone in any direction for the last few Test matches and it's been a crazy five [games]. The media has hyped it up in different directions and different narratives. I don't agree with some and I do agree with some others.
"It's a bloody tough tour. It's nice to come out on the winning side."
Head and the rest of the Aussie squad will now take some time to regroup before they head across to Sri Lanka later this month for a two-game series.

The 31-year-old admits the toll of the India fixtures has him pining for a break.
"I'm wrecked," Head said, laughing.
"I don't know what I'm gonna do over the next few days. We've got 10 or 12 days off before we go to Sri Lanka and I'm gonna use every little bit of that.
"It's been a tough tour, so I will look forward to a couple of cold ones tonight. I've been off the drink, so I will look after myself and then turn my attention to what's next."
