Australia will submit a new-look side for the Champions Trophy with four replacements needed following injuries and retirement.

Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins were the two latest players to be ruled out with injuries.

The news came on the same day Marcus Stoinis announced his retirement from ODI cricket.

Mitchell Marsh was also ruled out recently with an ongoing back injury.

"Unfortunately Pat, Josh and Mitch are managing some ongoing injuries and haven't come up in time for the Champions Trophy," Australia's chairman of selectors, George Bailey, said.

"While disappointing, it does present a great opportunity for other players to perform for Australia in a world event."

With Australia set to play two one-day matches against Sri Lanka after the Test series ends, Sean Abbott, Tanveer Sangha, Cooper Connolly, Spencer Johnson, Jake Fraser-McGurk and Ben Dwarshuis have all been added to the squad.
