Luke Saville's tennis career has ended after he and Li Tu lost their doubles match against Sem Verbeek and André Göransson.
The Swede and Dutchman proved way too strong for the Aussie duo, winning 6-4, 6-3 to put themselves into the fourth round.
For Saville, it ends a career including appearances at all four grand slams and the 2021 Olympics.

The 30-year-old was given a special presentation after the match and paid tribute to everyone involved in helping him reach the heights of his career, with wife Daria in the crowd.

"It's definitely quite surreal standing up here," he said.
"But I'd like to thank Craig (Tiley) and all of Tennis Australia, everyone here at the AO for a fantastic presentation and all the support you've given me throughout my career. I definitely wouldn't be here without you guys, so thank you.
"I'm truly blessed to have so many fantastic and influential people with me throughout my career.
"Over here to my right that's probably one tenth of everyone who's been on my journey so I'd like to take this opportunity, I'd be here all night if I named everyone but you know who you are, I wouldn't be here without you and from the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you've done for me."

Saville rose to prominence in 2011 and 2012 when he won boys' singles titles at Wimbledon and the Australian Open.
In the singles, his best result was a second round appearance at Wimbledon before he pushed on with his doubles career.
His best result in a slam was the Australian Open final with Max Purcell in 2020.
