David Warner delivered a classy speech after the Sydney Thunder's horror loss in the Big Bash final, hinting he will play on next season.
The skipper was brilliant throughout the tournament, finishing with the most runs in the competition and scoring 48 in the decider on Monday night.
While the result didn't go his team's way – thanks largely to a century from Mitch Owen – Warner brought plenty to the table in his first year as captain.

Speaking at the trophy presentation, the 38-year-old was humble in defeat and paid credit to Owen, Nathan Ellis and the entire Hurricanes team.
"First and foremost, congratulations to the Hurricanes and Nathan Ellis," Warner said.
"What a fantastic knock that was by Mitch Owen. As a player, you don't want to stand there and watch it but mate, that was phenomenal hitting and well done to you buddy.Â
"My players, my team – thank you, you boys have been amazing. I've asked for one big push this season and that was all about our attitude and you guys really showed that.Â
"The other thing is the crowd. The whole BBL, we have seen some serious numbers in attendance and we've seen some big numbers in viewership.
"Thank you guys, because we wouldn't be able to do what we did today without you."
Warner led the team through a tricky campaign and into the final, missing key players such as Cameron Bancroft and Daniel Sams due to injury, while the likes of Jason and Tanveer Sangha were limited in their appearances as well.

In the best indication yet that Warner will continue to don the lime green kit next summer, he opened up on the significance of giving back to the sport.
"It's in my DNA," he said.
"As a player who has played for Australia and had a lot of support over the years, I owe the game and that was coming back here to the BBL.
"Trying to make my energy infectious and hopefully all these youngsters coming out here today, hopefully one of you will be standing here receiving a winner's medal.
"I had a lot of fun, but being amongst the group that we had and the background staff, they all make it worthwhile. That's why I love coming back … that group over there, you have made me feel welcome as a captain and hopefully we can come back next year."
